Anyone else think it’s a little odd Payton Talbott’s stomach clearly extended past his chest during faceoffs? Kinda weird for a young skinny guy, can’t think of any reason he might look like that, hmm….

talbott's gut was sticking out because he exaggerates his hunched posture, he doesn't stand straight at all

Very heavy line movement on Severino. The odds dropped by about 20 points in just an hour or two.

I really feel like people are overstating Lima’s striking advantage. He’s good but even against Zenidim, he showed some holes in his game. Doesn’t like to lead with strikes, prefers to counter. Vulnerable to low kicks, and can be outpaced. People point to his KB record but he’s mostly just fighting other regional Brazilian guys, a lot of them who were outmatched. I could be totally wrong but something in me is saying this fight will be much closer than the lines suggest.

I also think Severino can mix in the wrestling better. I liked Lima’s TDD, very Aldo esque, but he’s been taken down and controlled in the past. Igor is a beefier more physical guy, so if anyone is gonna get this to the ground, it’s him imo. Igor also likes to blitz and force exchanges, which I noticed is a weapon that a lot of guys use on Lima in KB. Lima likes to stalk and pick shots, but even Rickson was able to freeze him up at moments with flurries. Igor has a really good leaping left hook so I could see that being a weapon on the end of exchanges.

This card is pretty much disappointing from top to bottom so I'm going to pass.

I don't like this new format of the website on mobile. Feels like too much scrolling to get to the bottom whereas before you could do it quickly and zoom into the screen if you needed to see the smaller stuff. 

Unnecessary change.

Anyone else think odds make it tempting to go against Rose?

Other than name recognition, I'm having a hard time justifying the heavy lean into an RN win.  The win % of Ribas' opponents suggests she's fought legit competition, and Rose hasn't had a win in over 2.5 yrs.  I like Rose and want to see her get back to winning, but I like $ and winning myself even more. 

Tell me why I should stay away from a Ribas upset wager.

This fight is certainly closer than the odds indicate, many fights on this card are closer than they seem. Lima opposition was quite low level at the time of kb, Severino will be his toughest opponent, Lima has shown good sprawls, but I still think his tdd is not 100% proven, Severino has great takedowns, if Lima doesn't know how to act given all the pressure from Severino, he should get 70%.

I usually do ****** with predictions/betting specifically fight night (not ppv) cards that start and end at later times. By the end of them I'm just stoned, tired and grumpy. I have a feeling tomorrow will be no different 😅
